Each year the History Section's continues its project to honor outstanding publications, print and online, in the field of history. The Committee's goal is to encourage both the work of scholars in the bibliography of history and the publishers who support this important activity.
RUSA History Section Discussion List
The on Connect serves the communication needs of History Section members and promotes the organization. Section leaders and members use this forum to share and discuss information about upcoming programs and activities, as well as other information and ideas relevant to the History Section. RUSA History Section members are automatically added to the forum, and non-members may also to view and post to the discussion list.

is an international network for librarians, archivists, curators, and scholars interested in the practice and study of bibliographic and library services in support of historical study and teaching. It is affiliated with the and the History Section of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±app. H-HistBibl seeks to provide a discipline-wide electronic forum for the sharing of questions relating to history librarianship.
Genealogy & Local History Discussion Group
The group provides an informal forum for the exchange of information about library services in local history and genealogy. Meetings may be held in a library or archive in the conference city having strong history or genealogy collections. The group creates and fosters an environment for creativity and growth by acting as a catalyst for new ideas and problem-solving initiatives.

The group introduces and considers a wide variety of topics of interest to librarians providing services to historians in all types of libraries.
