The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±app () Emerging Leaders (EL) program is a leadership development program which enables newer library workers from across the country to participate in problem-solving work groups, network with peers, gain an inside look into structure, and have an opportunity to serve the profession in a leadership capacity. It puts participants on the fast track to committee volunteerism as well as other professional library-related organizations.

RUSA is pleased to announce that Amanda Roper has been selected as our 2020 Emerging Leader! Amanda is an Assistant Librarian at Chattanooga State Community College.

’s Emerging Leader Program is designed to enable library staff and information workers to participate in project planning work groups, network with peers, gain an inside look into structure, and have an opportunity to serve the profession in a leadership capacity early in their careers.
