Solicits and evaluates nominations for and selects award recipients for the following STARS awards:

• Virginia Boucher OCLC Distinguished Interlibrary Loan Librarian Award
  
  • A monetary award and citation recognizing an individual for outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and contributions to interlibrary loan during the previous two years.
• STARS-Atlas Systems Mentoring Award
  
  • A monetary award to fund travel expenses associated with attending ’s annual conference for a library practitioner who is new to the field of interlibrary loan/document delivery or electronic reserves, and who has daily, hands-on involvement in the areas of borrowing, lending, document delivery, electronic reserves, material delivery, or resource sharing.
• STARS Publication Award
  
  • A citation to recognize and encourage excellence in publication in STARS focus areas, including interlibrary loan, document delivery, remote circulation, access services, cooperative reference, cooperative collection development, remote storage and other shared library services.
