Benefits of Personal Membership
PLA provides a wealth of resources dedicated to helping you build career-changing knowledge and networks. Additionally, membership is a prerequisite to PLA personal and organizational membership and brings its own benefits.

Each spring, the PLA president-elect will appoint PLA members to committees, advisory groups, and award juries. If you are interested in volunteering to serve on one of these groups, please fill out the Committee Volunteer Form (login required*). Please note that PLA is not able to accommodate all volunteer requests; however we will keep your name and committee preferences for two years to allow for two rounds of committee appointments.
