“I really benefited from the Asset-Based Community Development Model that we learned about. When I returned to my library I put together a team, and we used that model to do an analysis of what was happening in Denver for teens. The result is the Teen Asset Mapping Report (PDF, 67 pgs.), and we're already working with the Mayor's Office of Children's Affairs on how to collaborate and make progress on it. We also shared the report widely and are planning a local Connector's Table to bring together stakeholders.”
