CHICAGO—Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures is pleased to announce that Rachel Wells has been chosen as a Core Emerging Leader (EL). Wells works as the Reference Librarian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York where she is responsible for answering reference questions related to all facets of baseball. She also works on collection development.

"I am humbled to be selected for the Emerging Leaders Class of 2023," Wells said. "I'm ecstatic to work other members and to see what we can accomplish for !"

One of 49 library workers chosen from across the U.S. and Canada, Wells will participate in project planning work groups, network with peers, gain an inside look into the structure, and have an opportunity to serve the profession in a leadership capacity.
