partners with League of Women Voters to empower voters in 2024

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±app () and League of Women Voters today announced a new partnership to educate and empower voters in 2024. The collaboration is part of ’s recently launched Reader. Voter. Ready. campaign aimed to equip libraries to engage with voters.

Local libraries and state and local Leagues have long worked together to cohost voter registration, educational programs, and candidate forums. Many libraries promote the League's online voter information tool, VOTE411.org. The collaboration between the national organizations will expand those connections and generate new resources, including a forthcoming toolkit to support collaboration at the local level.

and the League will host a webinar, , on May 29, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. central. The webinar is open to all and will highlight the experiences of library/League partners, with actionable ideas and key learnings from their work together. To register, visit: .

“Leagues and libraries have a rich history of partnership, working together to serve their communities through education, outreach, and civic engagement,” said Alma Couverthie, chief of programs and interim co-CEO at the League of Women Voters of the United States. “The League is pleased to collaborate with the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±app to provide nonpartisan elections resources to ensure voters can confidently make their voices heard at the polls."
