Spring brings fresh posters and bookmarks in Graphics catalog

CHICAGO – The spring/summer delivers a host of fresh posters and bookmarks encouraging readers of all ages. Gracing the cover is a vibrant poster featuring Varian Johnson’s Twins, illustrated by Shannon Wright. Inspired by the graphic novel series, the and feature twins and best friends Maureen and Francine Carter reading together. In addition to being a twin himself, Varian Johnson was inspired to write Twins by his daughters, who love graphic novels but struggled to find ones where they could see Black girls like themselves as stars of the story.

The new catalog also unveils the official design of the 2021 Banned Books Week theme, Books Unite Us. Banned Books Week will take place September 26 – October 2, 2021. New materials include the and , , and . of these products are also available, along with a .
