CHICAGO – The Public Library Association (PLA) has unveiled the slate of candidates for the Association’s . This year, six nominees will stand for three positions on the : 2022-2023 president and two directors-at-large. The candidate elected in each race will serve a three-year term from July 2021 through June 2024. The candidate elected to the office of president will serve one year as president-elect (2021-2022), one year as president (2022-2023), and one year as immediate past-president (2023–2024).

PLA personal members should renew their PLA memberships by January 31, 2021, to be eligible to vote. Online voting will be available from Monday, March 8, through Wednesday, April 7. Each eligible PLA member will receive an email containing voting instructions and their unique ballot URL.
