Early-bird member discount for PLA 2020 Conference expires Friday, Dec. 20

CHICAGO — Members of the Public Library Association (PLA) and Tennessee Library Association have until Friday, Dec. 20, to take advantage of deeply discounted rates for the . Thanks to the early-bird registration offer, PLA and TLA members pay only $305 per person to attend PLA 2020, which takes place Feb. 25-29 in Nashville, Tenn. Offered biennially, the PLA Conference is the premier event for public library professionals, drawing thousands of librarians, library support staff, trustees, friends and library vendors from across the country and around the world. The PLA 2020 schedule is packed with extraordinary educational content, inspiring speakers and memorable entertainment. It will feature distinctive networking events, opportunities to mingle with authors, and a bustling exhibit hall offering the latest in library products and services.

The full-conference registration package includes the following:

  • Entry to the Opening and Closing General Sessions
  • Entry to the Big Ideas sessions offered each morning
  • Access to more than 100 educational programs curated for, and by, public library professionals
  • Access to the Exhibits Hall Wednesday, Feb. 26 through Friday, Feb. 28
  • Food and drinks at the Exhibits Opening Reception on Wednesday, Feb. 26, Exhibits Closing Reception on Friday, Feb. 28, and All-Conference Reception on Friday, Feb. 28.

All attendees can save by taking advantage of the advance registration rates, available through Friday, Jan. 31. Under these rates the cost of one full-conference registration package is $350 for PLA and TLA members, $440 for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±app personal members, $210 for retired or non-salaried PLA personal members, $175 for full-time library school students, and $585 for all others.
