CHICAGO – Through a panel-style webinar next month, the Public Library Association’s (PLA) will provide an overview of the Association's for public libraries, . Project Outcome is a free online toolkit designed to help public libraries understand and share the impact of their programs and services by providing simple surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes. Libraries can use the collected outcome data to evaluate programming, inform internal and external decision-making, support strategic planning, and more.

The webinar, , will provide an opportunity for interested parties to gain valuable insight from peer libraries who were among the first to use Project Outcome. These panelists will describe their experiences using the survey and tools, and how they have used Project Outcome to implement performance measurement programs that fit the specific needs of their libraries. The webinar will be held from 1-2 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, June 15. Participation is free, but registration is required and space is limited.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will:

• Understand how other libraries are using Project Outcome’s surveys and tools to measure the outcomes for specific program and library needs;
• Know how to implement Project Outcome in their library; and
• Be able to apply lessons learned and best practices.
