CHICAGO — The Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies’ (ASCLA) Library Consultants Interest Group and the Public Library Association (PLA) are teaming up again to offer at the PLA 2014 Conference 12:30-3:30 p.m., Friday, March 14, in the Indiana Convention Center, Room 244-245.

This is a unique opportunity for libraries to receive free 30-minute consultation sessions from professional library consultants. Like the libraries they serve, library consultants care about the success of individuals and the thriving communities that come from strong libraries. “Consultants Give Back” is simple: free consulting sessions with an expert. No sales pitches and no strings – just helpful advice. Pure and simple. For participants, it’s a chance to be heard by and learn from a caring expert in the field. For consultants, it’s an opportunity to “pay it forward.”
