Registration, housing now open for 2016 Midwinter Meeting & Exhibits

CHICAGO — Registration and housing are now open at for 2016 Midwinter Meeting and Exhibits in Boston, Jan. 8-12. “The conversation starts here . . . ” every year at Midwinter Meeting, offering the usual gold-standard networking, updates, exhibits, future-focused discussions, innovators and thought leaders and high-profile speakers. Highlights include:

“News You Can Use.” Sessions focusing on the latest updates from experts on public policy, ebooks and digital content, technology, community engagement, accessibility, LIS research, library user and book industry data, RDA and more, based on new research, surveys, reports, legislation/ regulation, projects, beta trials, focus groups and other data. Providers include divisions and offices and a wide range of other organizations.

President’s Program with Senator Cory Booker, Auditorium Speaker Series, ERT/Booklist Author Forum, Arthur Curley Memorial Lecture with Lizzie Velasquez, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Observance and Sunrise Celebration with Mary Frances Berry and a special closing session with Chelsea Clinton.
