Based on the PBS cartoon The Zula Patrol, this safe site teaches kids about science, math, and astronomy in a fun way. For ages 6+, parents need to e-mail permission for kids to join and members cannot share personal information--only their “alien” names. Kids play games (using science concepts like gravity and math skills) to earn Zlinkles to buy stuff for their spaceship and pet Fweeble. Players can see other players, but can only communicate using pre-written phrases like "Want to play a game?" Not all games require science knowledge, but familiarity with show episodes and some background knowledge helps with some.
