being the “voice of e-serials cataloging” in CONSER and on listservs; for generously sharing his expertise

with the multitude of catalogers and SCCTP (Serials Cataloging Cooperative Training Program)

trainers he has trained and mentored; for the improved access to serial records that has resulted

from his presentations, contributions to the serials literature, support of the ISSN, and participation

in professional organizations; and for promoting an understanding of standards among publishers,

vendors, and librarians by helping them realize the shared goal of delivering content and services to users.
