“The awards committee was impressed with Randy’s idea of having the MARBL's LBGT collection featured in the Atlanta Pride Festival,” said award Chair Pamela Mann of St. Mary's College of Maryland. “This was an incredible opportunity to introduce the archives to members of the local LGBT community whose histories are chronicled in the collection and demonstrates the value of libraries and archival collections to the public.”
