This project is an action research exploration and adaptation of a public library-based audiobook club for teenaged speakers of English as a second language. The project was submitted under this year's Research Topic 1 – An Active Learning and Service Approach to Diversity in Small or Rural Libraries.

Resulting publications & presentations:

  • Card, Timnah (2007, January). Analysis and adaptation of “Earphone English.” Poster presented at the Doctoral Research Poster Session of the Association for Library and Information Science Education, Grand Hyatt Seattle, Seattle, WA. Poster took third place in the doctoral student poster competition.
