SRRT Conference Grants - Application Form

Social Responsibilities Round Table (SRRT) members and leaders play a critical role in the efficacy of the round table - the ability to successfully carry out the mission of the task forces, to engage new members, and to run the meetings at Annual and Midwinter Meetings. The Conference Grants sponsored by the Social Responsibilities Round Table (SRRT) will help finance either in-person or virtual attendance at the Annual Conference. The $1000 award covers limited fees related to airfare, lodging, and conference registration. SRRT will fund up to two applicants per year.

Criteria

The SRRT Conference Grants Ad Hoc Selection Committee will consider the following in its deliberations:

  • The applicant's conference interests and goals regarding and SRRT
  • The applicant's potential contributions to and SRRT
  • How the applicant intends to use the conference experience in their career, at their home institution, and/or in local, state and regional associations

Eligibility

Applicants must be personal /SRRT members.

Deadline

Nominations received by 11:59pm CST on January 15, 2024 will be considered for the 2024 award. All applicants will be notified of the Selection Committee's decision by March 1, 2024.The timestamp on the application submission shall be confirmed. Recipients will receive half of the award prior to conference, and the remaining half after conference.
