SRRT Resolutions 1989: Resolution on Access Restrictions to Online Databases for Labor Union Subscribers

Text of 1989 SRRT resolution which states "The Library Union Task Force of the Social Responsibilities Round Table strongly protests the restriction of access to any databases for any individual or group in accordance with the 's Freedom to Read declaration. We particularly object to the restriction by Dun and Bradstreet limiting access to financial information by labor union subscribers. We also urge to review sponsorship of any awards supported by organizations who violate the Freedom to Read declaration."
