In Memorium: Norman passed away on Oct. 21, 2010 and will be missed greatly by his friends and colleagues in IRRT.

IRRT member since: the mid-1960s. My first meeting was in January 1964. I was elected Chair of IRRT for 1972-73.

Most enjoyable international library project/projects:

Attending IFLA Conferences in many different countries and serving as a mentor to international visitors attending conferences. Working to get to adopt Policy 54.2 which recognizes master's level programs in library and information studies accredited or recognized by the appropriate national body of another country.

Three words to new IRRT members: Participate and enjoy.
