I value ACRL's conferences as a place to share ideas with librarians in similar contexts from all over. I value ACRL's sub-sections, which allows us to carve out spaces to discuss the details of our unique job responsibilities.

I work strategically within, and outside of, my library to increase the accessibility of library experiences for our students. I provide reference support, and hold workshops for students and other staff. I help build connections between faculty and the library in ways that can support their students.

Access can mean different things to different people, at different times. I feel so lucky that my path through librarianship has allowed me to invest time and energy in thinking about and planning for accessibility. My experiences have allowed me to see how intrinsically linked access, libraries, and accessibility are.
